Position Title: Communications: Assistant Professor of Broadcasting and Electronic Media

Department: 2510|Communication


The successful candidate will be able to teach digital media classes for radio, television, and online in studio and field. Will prepare students for careers in news and entertainment programming and commercial production. The position entails scholarship, creative opportunities, and service to the academy and the profession.


Terminal degree in journalism, mass communication or fine arts (Ph.D, MFA) with professional experience. Will consider ABD. Applicants should have broadcasting or media production experience and the potential for a national record of academic publication or competitive distribution of creative works.
